Cup Plant is a native, perennial wildflower, three to six feet tall with numerous three to four-inch, yellow flowers. Each flower head has 20 to 30 yellow rays and darker yellow disks. Six to 10-inch, stout leaves are joined at the stem to form a small cup that holds water and attracts songbirds. It can grow up to nine feet tall. It grows in sun, in prairies, wetlands, and along streams. (SF)
